I am named after my grandma. Grandma is named after her mother, who in turn is named after her mother, and so the course of the family follows. Both the town and the family I come from have strong roots and traditions. It’s not only names, but farms, movements and sometimes even opinions that are inherited. I see myself becoming more and more like those who came before me. What is mine? Are my opinions my own, or have I simply inherited my family’s truths? Where are the dividing lines between me and you?
